Gift Vouchers

Gilt has gift cards available that customers can buy either online or directly through their stores. The e-Gift cards on their website can be designed and personalized in any way. The value of the gift card can be - $25, $50, $100, $500, $1000 or $2000. Customers can either buy a gift card for themselves or for a loved one.

These gift cards are non-refundable and they cannot be cancelled. Anybody who uses this gift card must be a member of Gilt. If the recipient becomes a member of Gilt after receiving the gift card then the sender will not get the referral credit for the purchase.

E-gift cards do not have any expiration date and they can be used for as long as there is credit in them. A gift card cannot be used to purchase subsequent gift cards. Also, credits on gift cards cannot be transferred.

Shipping Policy

For shipping to Australia, Gilt usually uses Borderfree, a logistics company that handles shipping for them. Packages are shipped to Australia using Globegistics. If the total amount of the order is more than $2500 then the courier partner will be changed to DHL.

Shipping rates are $19.95 for all orders under $100, and for orders above $100, shipping costs $9.95. Flat rate shipping is charged because Gilt subsidizes charges but that might not be possible for all the orders. That is why, sometimes, customers might be charged more too.

Refunds

Currently, Gilt accepts request for refunds and exchanges for US orders only. But, if the item arrives as incorrect or damaged, then the company accepts the return no matter where it was shipped. After receiving the product, Gilt will refund the original merchandise price and any taxes or duties associated with it.
