Refund/Cancellation Policy

CheapTickets requires up to 5 days to issue you a refund. You will receive a CheapTickets refund email explaining the amount of your refund and when and how you will receive it. When your refund is processed, the bank will take up seven working days to post this in your account. If you used CheapCash to make a booking that was canceled, any unexpired CheapCash amount would be returned to your account. Please note, some promotional types of CheapCash are not eligible for a refund.

Refunds for Rental Car Bookings

Refunds for a car rental booking will be handled by the rental company and not CheapTickets. Please contact the car company for questions concerning your refund. If you are canceling a prepaid booking 6 hours before pick-up, you will receive a complete refund.

If the prepaid car rental is returned earlier than allotted, you will not receive a refund for returning the vehicle at an earlier time.

Refunds for Flight Bookings

You may obtain a complete refund for some flight provided they are canceled within 24 hours. Some fares may not be refunded. If such fare is canceled, you may be awarded a flight credit.

Refunds for Hotels

A majority of hotel rooms are eligible for a complete refund provided they are canceled before the hotel’s deadline for cancellation.

Refunds on Vacation Packages

Flights booked through a vacation package are not eligible for a refund, but will receive a flight credit.

If a hotel booking is canceled using Cheap Cash, a prorated amount of the Cheap unexpired cash will be returned to your account. Cheap Cash that is earned via a canceled hotel booking will be deducted from your account. If sufficient Cheap Cash is not available in your account, a portion of the refund will be deducted.

Refund on Activities

If the event is canceled before the deadline, you will receive a complete refund. Some activities may not be refunded.
